Who is the Instructor?

Ustadh Umar Ijaz

Ustadh Umar Ijaz holds a masters in Chemical Engineering. His academic journey wasn't just in secular studies but Islamic as well. He studied with teachers from Egypt and travelled to Mauritania—a hub for Islamic knowledge, where he studied al-ʿAjrūmiyyah (Arabic grammar), qawāʿid ul-ʾIrāb , sīrah (the Prophet’s biography) and fiqh (jurisprudence).

There may on the odd ocassion be self-study sessions with structured tasks and guidance approved by one of the instructors. Excluding these sessions, we expect around 95%+ of the course to be live classes with an instructor.
